About ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems. It requires an organisation to identify its environmental aspects and impacts, understand its compliance obligations, plan and control operations that affect the environment, prepare for emergencies, and monitor and improve environmental performance.
It shares the Annex SL structure with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, which is why integrated quality, environment and safety systems — and integrated audits — are common.
Auditor training focuses on evidencing aspect identification, legal compliance and operational control; implementer training focuses on building those elements.
Which edition of ISO 14001 do the courses cover?
ISO 14001:2015 is the current edition, amended in 2024 to add climate-change considerations to the context clauses. Courses state the edition they cover in the course title.

Course completion certificate or personnel certification?
Completing a MEGADEMİ course gives you a course completion certificate: documentary evidence that you attended the programme and met its assessment criteria. It is issued by MEGADEMİ.
Personnel certification is different. It is granted by a personnel certification body — for example Exemplar Global — against a published auditor category, and it assesses more than training: applicants normally have to evidence audit experience, pass the scheme's examination requirements and apply to the body directly. No training provider can grant it on the body's behalf.
MEGADEMI-EUROTECH LLC is an Exemplar Global Certified Training Provider. That is a statement about the provider and its training, not a statement that any individual course automatically confers a personal auditor certification.

Frequently asked questions
Can I audit ISO 14001 if I already audit ISO 9001?+
The audit method transfers, but the technical content does not. ISO 14001 auditing requires you to evaluate environmental aspects, impacts and compliance obligations, which is why a standard-specific course is expected.
Is ISO 14001 training useful for sustainability reporting?+
It builds the management system foundation that reporting depends on. For reporting itself, look at the specialty programmes covering carbon footprint and sustainability reporting.
Can ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 training be combined in-house?+
