Lead Implementer Training
Lead implementer training prepares professionals to design, deploy and maintain a management system against a standard, up to certification readiness. It suits project leads, managers and consultants who build systems rather than audit them. Delivered online, in-person and blended. MEGADEMİ currently lists 48 lead implementer courses.
What lead implementer training covers
A lead implementer course is a build course, not an audit course. It follows the life cycle of a management system: gap analysis, scope and boundary decisions, leadership and policy, risk and opportunity assessment, objectives and planning, documented information, operational controls, competence and awareness, monitoring and measurement, internal audit and management review, then certification readiness.
Programmes in this discipline also include the manager-level security and continuity titles — for example lead network, application and privacy roles — where the deliverable is a working control set rather than an audit report.
Expect project-shaped output: an implementation plan, a risk treatment approach, a documentation structure and a realistic certification timeline.
Who it is for
- Project managers leading an ISO implementation
- Quality, EHS, information security and continuity managers building or rebuilding a system
- Consultants implementing management systems for clients
- Technical specialists taking ownership of a control set
- Organisations moving from an informal system to a certifiable one
Typical prerequisites
- Working knowledge of the standard being implemented, or an awareness course first
- Access to, and some authority over, the processes you intend to change
- Project management basics are helpful but not usually required
Training and assessment
- Implementation workshops and case-study exercises across the system life cycle
- A written examination at the end of the course
- A course certificate issued by MEGADEMİ on successful completion

How to choose the right course
- Choose implementer training when the deliverable is a working management system; choose auditor training when the deliverable is an audit.
- Match the standard and its current edition to your certification target.
- Where implementation and internal audit will sit with the same small team, plan both an implementer and an internal auditor course.
- For a live implementation project, in-house delivery lets the workshops use your real gap analysis.

Corporate and in-house delivery
Any course in this discipline can be delivered for a single organisation, online, in person or blended. In-house delivery lets the workshops use your own processes, documents and audit findings as the case material.
Corporate ISO trainingFrequently asked questions
What does a lead implementer actually do?+
They own the build. They agree the scope, run the gap analysis, plan the work, produce or commission the documented information, put operational controls in place, arrange competence and awareness, and take the system through internal audit and management review to certification readiness.
Should I take implementer or auditor training first?+
If your job is to create or fix the system, take implementer training first. If your job is to check systems, take auditor training first. Many practitioners eventually take both, because each explains why the other asks what it asks.
Does the course include our documentation?+
Public courses use case-study material. In-house delivery can be built around your own scope and documents, which is normally why organisations choose it.
How long is a lead implementer course?+
Duration is shown on each course page. Most run for five days.
